Bolivia Review

Story: Neethu, a social activist, finds her acquaintances at risk and seeks assistance from authorities and'Guru', a teenaged private detective known for his personal abilities. Can it be too late for Neethu along with her buddies to crack this case?

Overview: A thriller in 3-D may be what the genre cries for. Well, the actual question facing us actually is the reason does'Bolivia' have to maintain 3-D. The most low-key movie that obtained a release up to now this season,'Bolivia' includes no big names and therefore no fanfare. So, the movie per se carries no real weight, which makes it lots of space to show its mettle entirely on its own merit.

'Bolivia' proudly declares that'revival does not have any form', telling us directly in the name which the narrative is that of a sin offense. Neethu is a politically opinionated social activist who unexpectedly finds that her neighbor is at risk.

Slowly and steadily, the narrative builds suspense and has an ebb and flow into the story. Hashim deserves praise for his songs which blends in nicely with the story. Shanavas Muthu, the cinematographer retains the story visually attractive, all of the while engaging the viewer to the suspense.

On the other hand, the movie isn't without flaws. The movie has its own recreational advantages. The subpar and amateur behaving interfere with the cinematic experience. The movie is a dreadful fail in participating emotionally. In bid to make suspense, the writing lacks at creating a psychological ethos from the narrative. 'Bolivia' also fails in setting any type of morality or integrity. The author appears not to care that somethings aren't solely unlawful, but are wrong, regardless of who does it. In the race towards the finish, an awful lot of turns and twists appear to be made only for the interest of the shock element. They appear to have caught hold of the smallest anticipated character to be the offender and produced a shoddy narrative to warrant it.

More to the point, it's uncertain as to why the movie is 3-D because it conveys no response to the narrative along with the storytelling. In components, the 3-D facet of it seems plain holographic. For all of the thrills, the stunt and action scenes from Bolivia are a huge turn off. And of course, the editing is scratchy in components.

But regrettably, leaving the theatre, together with the half-baked the narrative marred with plot-holes,'Bolivia' leaves you only with queries compared to any replies.
